New bird is definitely a boy as it's a "dilute". The heavier black around the mask of your first bird I would take to indicate a hen, but the yellow of the belly and the dance (shaking head and jumping up and down) is typical boy. The hopping is male gould mating behavior. Girls will shake their heads and twirl their tails, but I've never seen one hop.

Wow, I don't know if I noticed the tail twirling. I will try to watch for that the next time I see him or her do that behavior again (I've only seen her do it once.)

I finally heard the male sing his song in conjunction with his dance. It was the cutest thing ever!!
