I just returned from a trip to southern Florida...hubby took care of the dogs and birds for me for 4 days. He was so ggod about grating eggfood for them, he said the young were right down in the dish before he could get his hand out of the cage. The all look really great. The other pair are on eggs as are the parents...even my older female is in the nest alot.
The zebras with the fertile owl eggs may quiet possibly hatched the eggs and are raising a or both owl chicks...it is hard to see in their little nest but I am certain I saw dark browm feathers...so I may have to see what pops out of the nest in a couple of weeks!!! Maybe unrelated owl chicks to go with the other babies from the busy pair!!!
