The Black cheek are one of my favorites!!

Just an update for everyone, the new black cheek male is doing very well, and might I add has come into his adult plumage, and man is he ever gorgeous! I didn't think he would have any of the chesnut spotted pattern on his lower abdomen, but low and behold he's grown out BLACK and WHITE spotted pattern there instead! He's such a striking bird. I'll have to try and get a picture of him here in the next few days for ya'll to see (if he'll sit still for any length of time!)
