Well today checked the nest and only found 2 eggs left..... several days ago they were down to 3 eggs now today down to 2. No sign of the other eggs... She is sitting most of the day on the eggs....Oh Well!!!! Poop happens!!

Update for my Owl pair that started out with 4 eggs well each day they are minus an egg and yesterday only 1 egg left I candled it and it was infertile....

Oh well I am sure they will start another clutch again.

They must have eaten the first 3 cause there was no sign of any eggs in the nest.... Maybe the egg fairy came in the night and nicked them

How old are they?? for owl finches, usually wait til they're at least a year old...gives them time to mature and then you'll see great parenthood.

This would have been their 2nd clutch the 1st had 3 eggs all fledged.
