I tried with an owl but my pair did not finish feeding it out when it fledged so I had to handfeed. Zebras fostering zebras, that I have done.

Oh, but I meant if you don't have that species use societies. Trudt me, they're my last resort as fosters. Harboring all those diseases. Cindy, what if I took society eggs zebras raised them (which I doubt) do you think they would be disease free?

That may work since they will not have the possibility if being passed anything from the zebras as they would from the societies. You can have the socieities droppings tested by a vet to see if they are "clean".

I think he is since he had that little hourglass shape pattern in his tail! And the little orange line near his eye.

Hope all is well with you Vargur!!!!

Same to you Cindy :D

He also have reduced tear mark and white under his beak.
plus the hour shaped bars on his tale
and the orange eyebrow!
SO he IS split for BB  =D>

I think you have to pair him with a full BB lady
or split.
then you can breed his full BB ofspring
with one of you isabels or FF.
If you pair him with a female that you
know that is full BB split isabel
or is isabel split bb, then you can get Phaeos ;)
He is very cute!!

The pair are very bonded, and older. His son is the orange eyebrow male. I have him paired with a split to BB female, their young are just coloring up, all boys. I do not have a full BB available.

I have a split to BB female in with a FF and their offspring are on the topic thread
