Another neat site to use is the Genetic Advisor
http://zebrafinch.info/colours/genex.asp#
For a look at what your zebra may look like use the Designer section
to the right
if the calculator does not have your mutation listed refer to the Information section Other mutations
http://zebrafinch.info/colours/notincluded.asp

Re: Zebra Genetics some interesting facts
I looked at the link, it had eumo. It had pictures of the wing problem, my uncle has two full males, and two split hens? None have this deformality, and none of the 7 chicks have this?? The eumo fledglings fly as fast as an adult bird. Sorry, I jsut do not see the problem!

I referenced it on Garrie Landry's site also
http://www.zebrafinch.com/NewZebra/Eumo/Eumo_Zebra.html
read what he says. according to him they fly well in a cage but not very well in a large flight.

Re: Zebra Genetics some interesting facts
There seemed to be a group of them up your way...they most likely are around but I have been working with the BB, FF, FS working to phaeo. Now OB...if my fawn pair passed this recessive trait onto their young several of the pairs I put together will carry it.
I paired a male split to BB with one of the fawn offspring split to BB and now OB....they are on eggs.

Re: Zebra Genetics some interesting facts
Cindy, my uncle would be very happy! I showed him some of the pictures of BCCFW and he likes them! He saw them on singing wings (he is ordering BF) and said woah, 100 a pair!! Maybe I can trade him a pair for a pair of eumo
then send you eumo eggs. My societies are sitting, I should have some fosters ready. Cindy I have to pm you something.
