Colt Joshua said this was her last pair. She had maybe 4 or 5 pairs at the Houston show, so she has been selling them. They all looked very healthy. Jan will be at Temple with whatever she has left.
3 Purple Grenadiers, 1 Goldbreast + 1 cat.

I am pretty sure you are as excited as I am about the strawberries isobea. They are so small and charming. I am not sure if they stop singing during a molt but we shall find out eh? I know my gouldian still sings his heart out even during his molt so it might vary by species.

Thanks Colt! These are the last breeding pair from Jan. I picked them up today and she showed me her bird room (waxbill lover's heaven). Most of the birds in the room was already accounted for with the exception of about 3-4 pairs (lavenders, goldbreast, stars, and black rump) that was able to point out. I wanted to take all of the available ones but I do not have the room, lol. You can check out her list on her website to see what she has left. I know the prices have been dropping because I saw her lavenders at the Houston show for $100 but now they are listed for $80. She also predicts that after the Temple show, she will not have any more birds.

Congrats on your strawberries! They look great. If you have babies, I may have to adopt one, since you are also in my area

ohboi_jc - Hi Joshua, time for a short update: my pair has settled in nicely and they are definitely bonded now. Monday was the first time that I heard my male starting to sing - and what a lovely song it is! I listened to several males on youtube and some of them seem to have harsher songs than others. Mine is very soft and melodious. Any news on your pair?

Welcome to finchaholic anonymous. We know we have a problem and we don't want to do anything about it, other than more and more finches :D :D :D
