Do you know how old they are? Were they wild caught? The female looks like she is afraid of the male, and she seems to be a lot smaller. Be sure they are getting along good. They are both pretty birds and the male should be getting all black feathers on his chest as he molts. Good luck with them.

I don't know there age but they are wild caught, the female is only little bit smaller maybe from that angel of the picture it looks more smaller, there is know fighting between them she is scared because i was taking pictures.

Where I used to live in Massachusetts they were everywhere and a serious nuisance pushing native species out of nesting sites. As far as food goes, they always hung around McDonalds and ate french fries and scraps of bread :lol: Not sure if that's what they were feeding their young though.
