I applied Vaseline to Phoenix's beak again this morning before I left for work and he made his little calls (screams?) again while I was catching him. But I thought it was funny / cute afterwards when I was finished and had replaced his cage back on top of the tallboy dresser for the day and I left my bedroom (and closed the door) - all my dogs and the cat were sitting outside my bedroom door! I guess Phoenix's calls had attracted them to his rescue! Yeah, no, not going to happen.

I am sure they were wondering what was going on.
My little miniature daschund sits on the back of my couch at the window most of the day watching my birds. I have to wonder what goes through her mind. I am sure she would love to chase them.
