Here's a link to a cage you might like and you can pick it up in Scaroborough. I've picked up a number of different cages from this company. Cages are decent quality and price is better than having to convert to US currency and added shipping.

They also have the case of 4 breeder cages with a stand which I have as well. Hope that helps.

That is so funny. I was just about to post a question about this cage and the lot of 4! I found them on ebay and the Scarborough pickup is great (I'm in Scarborough)! This should be an acceptable cage for these birds, shouldn't it? Pleaase let me know and I'll order it today.

Thanks for the link!

It's a great cage for the fids!! I bought two of these flights from them plus several cases of "4 cages plus stand".

The flights are great for the juveniles to stretch their wings in a little more roomy cages!

Bah I couldn't wait. I was too excited. The total cost before tax was $135 and that includes "shipping". I'll pick it up tomorrow. Not bad I guess. Now I just need a bird.

Wow your cages look really nice! I didn't even realise you can put one of the smaller ones underneath.

I love the fact that you can put another cage on the bottom shelf with this unit. Makes it much more practical. With the HQ single flight, you can only put a 24x16x16 cage on the bottom shelf, and it is an extremely tight fit--another design flaw.

Like your bird room..... one advantage of your room over mine.... you don't have to go outside to get to it.... Nice color and Lots of room. I can tell you keep organized and give your birds lots of room. Very Nice.

Thanks! :D If the weather allowed me to have my birds outside year-round, I would for sure - that would let me have MORE birds!

Well I was out of luck today. There is no cordon bleu at the store now. I saw a nice parsons though.

Oh well, maybe it was for the best. It'll give me more time to plan things. This weekend I'll try another shop and see what they have.

I missed out on a pair that was available last month. Too sad.

I hope so, and I'll thank you for not rubbing it in my face everytime I look at your signature, and seeing you have both types ;)

Well a bit of good news. I picked up my cage and assembled it. I was very impressed with it's size. It is much bigger than I thought, even though I knew the dimensions beforehand. Unfortunately I broke one of the casters but that's okay. I just removed the other 3 and if I need to, I'll go to Home Depot and pick up a set.

The even better news is that I found someone with 2 pairs of cordons bleus. I'm waiting for a response to ask the birds' history and the other details. Hopefully I can pick them up tomorrow and have the weekend to do all the worrying.

I would never do that. Too bad you don't live closer..... I have some juvies and would give you a couple! I love my birds to have good and caring homes.
