Are you using a product like Calcium Plus? She may have shown signs of being egg bound just because of her age alone. If you are using wheat germ oil - I would use Cod Liver Oil too. That is the oil that will help her absorb the calcium she needs.

Misty i have all three. I'll add the Calcium to the water this afternoon during changing their water out.

The only birds I ever expected to get it the first time were the zebras and societies. The RHF are young but it was a very good learning lesson for both the myself and the finches.

I am not disappointed but hopeful. Even if they don't reproduce I still enjoy having them.
