tursiopschic, that's something I was fearing cause I also came across something similar.

Today though for the first time in over 10 days the yellow Gouldian was singing pretty much the whole day - the others (which were fine before the treatment) were also looking pretty good and the other males were singing along.

Can I take that as a sign that the 1st treatment worked? I'm still worried since there's 4 more days until the 2nd treatment is applied.

If you buy the Ivermectine from Abba you just dump the entire container in a gallon of water. You can then put the leftovers in the refrigerator for 14 days and retreat. Unfortunately I don't think that you can try to mix up smaller doses, since once it's opened you basically have two weeks to use it. I know that the S76 says that it's also an ivermectine product, but I wonder if it's just too diluted to work. Like I said, I lost several birds that should have been protected. They did not die right after treatment, so I know it wasn't dead mites that got them. :cry:
