You birdies are too funny ;)

There are three stuffed babies :) Three eggs to go... so that means the eggs she laid after I thought she was done are probably the ones going to hatch one a day now - I hope not but probably will :?

I thought 6 were fertile when I looked and there are six for sure of which 3 of those have hatched and two were clear - I took them a few days ago to allow proper heat to the others.

Pictures soon ;) I'm trying to wait until she leaves the nest again...

WOW - congrats!! That's so wonderful!! I can only hope my hen lays another clutch.

I'm so happy for you. How are the first chicks doing? They are not fully weaned yet, are they?

They are and have been away from the parents for over a week now ;)

They have their own "flat" now - Dad was being very aggressive toward them :?

The eggs and the young are a beautiful sight!

I just unpacked my new order that came UPS yesterday evening, the dummy eggs look so realistic.... best fakes I have ever seen.... better keep them seperate from the real ones #-o

But do they have any spots/dots on them? My fake canary eggs are just blue - no colouring like real canary eggs. :|
