MariusStegmann
There are only two birds, Marius, lol. They are two males from here, not imports, ( we have no new imports here).
Number one, the top two picts is my older male (who lost his mate when she was severely injured by my cat). He is around three + years old.
Number two, the bottom two pictures, is the male I bought as companion to number one (when I couldn't find a female).
The two of course hate each other

. Lucky me.....

Creamino is sex linked.... the bird on the right is creamino... the male is fawn/creamino. You should not pair a creamino to creamino but use a split.

Congrats Cindy. They are beautiful. Please keep posting how they're doing. Now, if I could find any type male for my one normal female, I'd be happy...... So would she. She's really been trying to get a Gouldian or Silver beak to become interested and lays eggs in each of their nests.... Sterile, of course. She loves to share incubating and I'm surprised that the Gouldians haven't chased her away.

Cindy, thanks so much for your pictures. I am learning so much about, not only the opals and greys that y'all have brought in, but SO much on the mutations and genetics of what has been available. It really has been enlightening. I am very excited to see your progress, see what you are matching up and the outcomes. It's almost enough to want me shift some of my attention from the Zebras.
We plan on moving in another year and a half. I hope to have again a dedicated bird area. I've been limited in my current available space to dedicate - of course I said that three flights ago - but I am so looking forward to being able to expand into having dedicated breeder cages in the future.
