Hey, funni person, are you from Australia? You referred to the Stars as natives, and that's where they are from. Also, Gouldians for $15 a pair!! I'll have to look up the exchange rate, here in the US, normals usually go for around $60 each in my area, and more for the more uncommon colors.

Sally,

Just let me know when you're ready to start crossing those birds off your "wish" list. LOL! We breed all but the green singers.

Carmen is in the Netherlands! I don't suppose you ship quite that far? Wish my swees would produce - I'll add that to my wish list!

Whoops! My bad! Didn't realize Carmen was in the Netherlands. Ummmm. .. no, we don't ship that far.

The swee chicks jumped out of the nest this evening when I checked on them. Both of them hit me right in the chest, fell to the ground, then started running around like little roadrunners screaming at the top of their lungs. I just sat there and laughed. Couldn't help myself. It was the funniest thing!

And, I must say that swee chicks are just the absolutely cutest little things!!! Complete attitude in a tiny little ball of feathers!!!

They're not supposed to fledge until next Tuesday.

Congrats! I want featherballs with attitudes! The only time I've gotten fertile eggs they tossed both chicks. Maybe next time.....

Thanks, Hillary!

I hope you get feather balls with attitude too!! We had given up on our swees breeding until this coming spring, so it was a surprise to us when one pair went to nest. Now, if only the other pair will get on the stick so we will have unrelated pairs of offspring to sell.

And I looked up the exchange rate, $15 Australian is $13 something US! Of course, there are so many large breeding operations in Australia, so I guess that keeps the price down. The government doesn't allow any wild-caught anymore, do they?
