Oh cute cute CUTE! I have the other subspecies that do not have the black faces. They're little tiny round birds, and I love them to death. Just wish the little buggers would get with the program! :lol:

No, the swee I'm talking about -- a yellow bellied waxbill -- is different. If you click on the "Finch Info Center" link to on the left side of this webpage, a new webpage will open. Then select "Species" from the menu that runs across the top of the new webpage and scroll down until you come to the picture of a bird named a Swee.

We haven't shipped birds to Canada before. Does your county accept birds being imported from the US?

Now that I know they actually exist I want a BLUE BREASTED Gould...a pure whie Gould...and I also want a Green & Yellow doule frill Canary to replace the one we lost.

if i had the space and money id love to set up a large flight with an african grasslands theame, planted with reeds and grasses and mabey a shallow stream meandering thru it. id have greensigers, weavers, wydahs and waxbills in it. mabey some quail finches too

Zebs, cause I own a pair and cause they are so AGGRESSIVE its annoying

I saw RCCB's available but thought I wouldn't want them as they need live food. I have enough types of Waxbills needing live (ew) food. So I guess they would be on my Do Not Want List.

.... just cause of some meal worms!!!??? LOL

Buy the insect mix or something.. will that suffice? Or must it actually be moving and alive. I use meal worms, just toss em in a little bucket and the finchies go nutso.
