I have a single female Gouldian (just given to me by a lady moving), and I'm trying to locate a mate for her that I can afford. So far that's not happening, so I am wondering if another species will be good company for her... I am thinking maybe a few society finches, since they are also used as foster parents.
I would eventually like to get her a Gould. mate (male or female), but until that time I hate for her to be alone.
Any suggestions?

Thats the way it is once you get one you need more gouldians,but society finches will be fine
