Societies are a blast! Zebras calming back down

Post by Hoji » Thu Jun 28, 2007 8:19 am

My new society finches (4) are settling in well - I will probably put them in the flight this weekend, if no signs of illness appear. They are the funniest, I didn't know they were so loud, which is ok 'cause I love the sound. They sound just like giant crickets.
The Zebras are settling down nicely too. When first put back together, in the new flight, there was some aggressive behavior (this time from Bernard, the shoe is on the other foot). So 4 days later they can sit on the same perch without it always becoming a merry chase (as opposed the angry ousting fights they were having for the first day and a half). Still some squabbles, but I'm beginning to see that my day dreams of a peaceable kingdom is not in their skill set.

Did you just use "peaceful" and "zebra" in the same sentence? Glad everybody's settling in!
