Hey all
What does it mean when they say the gouldians are uncoloured... I am assuming it means they haven't gotten their coloured feathers yet. Just wondering if I am right or not?

I've always understood it to mean they didn't have their adult colors yet so I would say your right.

I agree - juveniles not coloured up yet but you'd be best to ask them directly just to make sure.

Just wanted to give you a heads up in case you're seeing this term in an ad for birds for sale. Many breeders (myself included) will not sell goulds before they've finished coloring out, and just as many folks will not buy them until they're done. They're cheaper at that age since many times you will not know what their final colors will be, so if you don't care about color it can be a good deal. I personally think that you also run a greater risk of losing the bird, however, since that first moult can be a tough one on a very young bird.
