Not sure which bird you are specifically mentioning, but the Gray male appears to be a Crested. We had a Crested hen for a brief period of time. Very interesting mutation. Still would like to find another Crested Zebra.

The other "almost white" bird looks like it could be Crested as well, but also a pied of some sort. We actually have had a number of birds that looked very similar. Not exactly sure what mutation is at work that brings about the very light fawn / tan coloring. Our one hen I believe is a Pied /Fawn Continental CFW. Another male that was similarly colored was a Single Factor Florida Fancy Pied. His light coloring had a shimmer to it that was indicative of SF/FF birds. My guess is that the bird you posted a picture of could very well be a Pied Isabel.

Good point about the beak color. Since both birds appear to be Crested, I assumed they were related. Do you know the history of the birds at all? Are they related? How old the lighter colored bird is? If it just recently fledged, that might explain the lightness of the beak. If not than a hybrid might very well be the case.
