Java babies

Banded the baby javas today while they are still in their nest. That way I won't have to chase them around with the bird net when they do fledge. Usually I don't even know I have them until I see them flying around the aviary. There were three in the nest last week. There were only two today with no trace of the third one.

Real cutey!!! Did you ever get ito the different mutations of javas and shaftails?

I have fawn, white, normal, pied, and silver pied.
I only like the normal shaftails.
