Hey There,

I have a pair of Bengalese and I was wondering if anyone knew of any other finch varieties that have mainly arisen out of domestic breeding and cannot be found in the wild any longer... I want to pair them with such a variety if possible.

I don't know of any.

any of the canarys that you see now adays are a domesticated version of the finch....

but most people dont consider them to be "finch" anymore...

every canary is a finch... but not every finch is a canary...

kinda odd huh!

The Gouldians are close but not yet extinct so I am too at a loss on this lol.
