Continental CFW parents and fledgling

I noticed a tiny little fledgling in the food dish this evening. When these little guys fledge they look incomplete, they have feathers on their body but their heads are black and look like they are missing something. As they feather in the tops and sides of their heads are still black, as they molt they turn white and the black cheeks form.

The parents built a cup shape nest in the plants in the corner of the cage, there are two more little ones that still need to fledge. This is their second clutch, they had 2 males the first time.

So cute:)
I love the second pic, of the parents, I like the way the bars framed it, it looks neat :)
I have never seen this type of Zebbie before.

Thank you....I had no experience with these before either. With the first clutch one male offspring colored up quickly, the second one is still slowly loosing the black baby feathers in it's head.

The parents are rather calm and the quietest zebras I own...very good and protective parents.

Liz...that seems to be his "go to spot". He pops out of the nest and takes his place in the food cup! He is even eating a little on his own...it is funny to watch the dad go to eat from the cup and the baby begs...at least dad doesn't have to go to far to feed!!!
