$240.00 for the pair.
Had to be imported from Toronto.
They are usually $300.00 for a pair, when available.

In my area and most places I've seen online they are $350.00 a pair, so compared to that, you did pretty well. They are the cutest little things. I fell in love with one here and wish I could have got him.

She gave me a deal on them, the other pair she has for sale are $300.00 asking price and she will get it.
She is also keeping a pair for herself.
We are hoping they will breed and we can swap young and start a breeding program.

Beautiful birds. I have them on my list of birds to purchase. My local guy only has two males right now but should have more females in two weeks. Worth the wait because is prices are always great.

The little fellow has been busy this morning!
He's been putting hay into the nest basket.

Excellent - mine wouldn't use the hooded wicker nest. He had to build his own right on top of it!

They are really settling in nicely.
They are a lively bird but not flighty.
I can come to the cage and feed them and give them greens
with out them trying to break out!
Also they like to bath.
When ever I fill the drinkers, I have to give them bath water or they
will try to bath in the drinkers .
I really recomend them if you can find them.
These are one of the breeds that will be harder and harder to locate,
as Cuba does not export them anymore.
I named them "Romeo Y Julieta" like the Cuban cigars.
