I finally got some YB goulds. The dad is BH, PB, GB dilute. Mom is BH,PB, YB. I can't wait to see what the chicks color out to be.
I just noticed the different color beaks.

Jan I will be at the July fair in Pontchatoula. Lafayette is a bit too far for me.
See you there!

Congrats!!!! I love yellows

From that pairing you can get some that look like Mom, some that look like Dad, and some that are yellow males and some BH PB GB girls.... lots of variety. Hope you get a boy too.
If the boy gets 1 factor of yellow (single factor then it will look like your dilute dad, due to having a purple chest. if it had a lilac or white chest it would look more lemon)/lime sf), if the chicks get 2 factors of yellow, one from mom and 1 from dad then you will have a yellow double factor male
If the parents are carrying hidden genes such as split for white breast or split for blue back you may get even more variety. I love seeing what pops up in the nest...it's like an easter basket sometimes
Again, congrats, the chicks look really healthy.
