It looks like a dinosaur O_O... What an interesting bird!! It's like evolution is still in the process of going from reptile to bird!

I love canaries, I used to had this dream of owning every kind of canary. But then I got finches and there is no more room for more birds. Our local pet shop had this kind of canary but it had more curly feathers and was yellow, It looks weird but at the same time interesting.

I'm curious too, could you tell us what makes these canaries so special to you?

I have American Singers and adore them - I know they are the common type but I enjoy their song. I hope to someday have Spanish Timbrados.

I've seen the Italicus Canaries before, and just brushed them off as canaries with bad posture

Are the babies born with that posture or do you have to train them to grow that way?

Is it really?! How on earth did humans manage to do that to a perfectly normal canary species? These look like Quasimoto canaries with hunchbacks. I actually feel bad for them.
