I have a large type Green Singer male. I used to have a pair, but he killed the female. I didn't realize they could be so aggressive to their mate, but have since read that they should be separated except for breeding. They are pushy, so don't think they would mix well with what you have already. I keep this male with my Zebra pair, and they are pushy enough to stand up to him. His song is wonderful, and the reason he is still around. I've never had Orange Weavers, but they are also supposed to be pushy types.
I have Owls and Stars and would recommend either of them. I favor the Stars, just because mine are so full of personality, very curious and ready to try anything new. The Stars love to bathe, several times a day, and the males have a squeaky little song. I haven't bred the Owls yet, so don't know about that. Stars are pretty quick to go to nest and lay eggs, but sometimes they abandon the nest, or once the eggs hatch, they will lose interest and toss the babies.
