Gouldian Female Seperate Cage with eggs in nest..Next?
What do i do next? Match her up with a male for breeding? Theres only female gouldians in the cage she is in. I left a nest in the cage and saw theres 3 eggs. Do i remove the nest with eggs? i am 99.99% sure they are no good. I am thinking of isolating a male for a few days in a breeding cage then dropping her in.

If she hasn't been with any males in the last couple of weeks, the eggs are infertile and you can toss them. If she is just laying eggs in the hen cage or flight, then it sounds like she is in full breeding mode. If you want her to breed, decide which male would be a good match, making sure he is in full breeding mode too, and set them up together in a cage with a nest and nesting material. They will do the rest.
I'm not a Gouldian breeder, so I will let those who are tell you what signs to look for to tell if they are in full breeding mode. It has to do with their beak color, but I can't remember what colors.

Put the male Gouldian in a breeding cage first to establish his territory and build a nest - then in a week, put a hen in there with him.

Re: Gouldian Female Seperate Cage with eggs in nest..Next?
I didn't remove the nest yesterday and today i noticed 2 gouldian hens in the nest (Yellow and a Blue) with another egg (4total). I removed the nest today and added the eggs to a nest i setup yesterday for a young society finch trio i am going to setup as foster parents in the future (hopefully soon).
So i moved a yellow male yesterday to a breeding cage. i guess i need to move my blue male as well.
