New pics of my Gouldians

Post by Dario78 » Sat Aug 04, 2007 11:11 pm

Hi everyone !
I have to say that I don't write here very much....but you have to understand me, read and try to understand you in english is a bit difficoult for me !!
But your forum is excellent, so sometimes I come back here to use all my english highschool lessons !
I'm happy to can show you my Gouldians (i did this pics yesterday)! Now I've five of them: a couple, their two sons and a new black headed hen.
I prefer have always small groups of Gouldians...and so I sell all the new babies, maintaining for me just a male everytime. My first Gouldian was their grandfather (infact..on my avatar you can see that now I'm at the 3th generation)!
They live in my aviary with two pairs of society and a pair of red-cheecked waxbill.

So...let's start:

The Guys..

The two hens alone...and with a guy..

And here...I'm stupid !

P.S. Excuse my mistakes....write in english is hard !
:D :D :D

Hi, Dario,

You write English better than some Americans! All I remember from a quick 2-week course in Italian is 'Carlo e a casa con lo zio' or some such thing. I figured no one would ever ask me where Carlo was anyway, and languages have never been my strong suit. Beautiful Gouldians!

You do have beautiful birds! Love the black headed hen (I'm partial to those little girls). My Italian is limited to reading a menu (which really is the most important thing) and "Io non puo hablare Italiano!"

Thank you very much !
Hilary the black headed hen is my favourite too..i love her big eyes, similar to wild gouldians ! :)
Compliments for your italian....it's horrible !!   #-o
"Hablare" I think that it's spanish or something similar...but surely it's not italian ! But I understand that for you Italian and Spanish can sound similar! I work in a restourant here in Rome, near Spanish Steps (an American Steackhouse) and many americans try to speack to me using spanish words ( that i can't understand) !
The correct form for "Io non puo hablare Italiano!" ( I can't speak italian) is "Io non posso parlare Italiano".   \:D/

P.S. I've seen your website...compliments you have gorgeous birds ! =D>

Dario...
Pretty birds! I'm jealous that you can get such nice clear close pictures. Everytime I try to snap a shot my birds fly off! I guess they're afraid of the camera or the flash!

No...she's not bigger..it seems so but it's only their position in that moment. :)

Hi Dario,
your gouldian pictures are very good, especially hens.
I was learning Italian last winter but i found it harder than German.
We were at the future tense.

Italians are also good at breeding European Goldfinches.
Do you have one of them?
