What type of society finch is this?

Post by lstyles » Mon Apr 25, 2011 7:54 pm

I just purchased this society finch and was wondering what color it would be considered to be. I am guessing a fawn dilute pied?

I can't tell for sure with the lighting, but it looks like it may be a dilute.

Here's another photo from the side. I was thinking dilute because she is such a light cinnamon color (almost a cream).

Yes at this angle it looks dilute to me. I have a few of them, not easy ones to find. She is a beauty! I love your BCCB too!

I never knew there were so many types of society finches! Actually "she" turns out to be a "he" as I saw him singing yesterday.
Thanks
