Is there anyway to tell if a bird is split to blue?

Unfortunately not just by looking at it.
If one of the parents was a blue back, the baby will be split for sure.
Otherwise, the only way to know is to either breed it to another split for blue or blue. If you get blue babies, you know for sure that he is split..
