Here are some pictures of "Coco" my conure that I hand fed from three weeks old.
I called it Coco, because it sits on my shoulder and nibbles my ear and makes a noise that sounds like coco coco.

Those green cheeks are some very smart birds too. I bet he is just a wonderful pet...and beautiful too!
Green cheeks are also the most quiet of the conures :D

I love green cheeks. Last week I spent the day with one (err, with a friend who has one :)). I loved it when it rubbed it's face/neck against my neck and made little coo-ing sounds. They're wonderful birds. And yours is a real beaut!

Thanks everyone,

Coco is a real little character!
Has it's moments, this morning while nibbling my
ear decided that she needed a better taste and bit me.
Not hard, but just enough to let me know I'm here.

I amazed how she is.
I had a Nanday Conure and had to get rid of it,
couse of the noise.

Very nicely colored pineapple! We have a normal, Beaker, who's 5. They are very smart and it's easy to teach them all manner of tricks. The most it takes Beaker to learn a new trick is two evenings. (5-10 minutes each) I just taught him to lift his wings when I point a finger at him and say "stick em up!" So even if CoCo is young he/she will learn tricks quickly and it keeps their minds active.

She's very sweet! I'll bet our Beaker would love to meet her! It's breeding time for parrots and Beaker isn't in the best of moods with his hormones raging out of control and no girlfriend. :( such is life with parrots......

I'm not 100% that she is a SHE.
No DNA done yet.
The other two were DNA'd and were found to be males.
She was the smallest of the three, so I'm thinking it is a SHE.
She likes bling/shiney things!!

She is a lot of fun to have.
She is interactive, where the finches
are just site and sound only.
She is fun to hold and stroke.
When she is stroked she makes little
clucking sounds and lifts her wing to be tickled under.
