So I finally spotted a male zebra finch to put with my lightback female zebbie, he's split for pied, his face is kind of white and he has the white edged wings, he's so pretty! I couldn't get pics just yet but will post some! Immediatly they liked each other, checked out the nest and are sleeping in it together, awwww love at first sight. I just had to post my excitement! And pics will follow later tonight hopefully, or tomorrow!

Ok here you go! The flash on the camera kind of shot some red coloration on him, but not too bad of pics. I just think he's great! And by the way as of today they have 2 eggs already! Amazing how quick zebbies work. I'm so excited, I hope they are fertile.

Of course after waiting forever to get this guy I now see at work there are some beautiful males and females and im tempted to get another pair, though i'd be afraid they'd be related so what i'm doing is waiting to see what chicks I get from these and possibly keeping a lovely one and getting it a mate in the future. It's tough to resist the zebbies at work because they have a gorgeous what I believe is a Pied (maybe split for fawn) CFW male, and CFW combined with something females, though I'm still trying to decide if thats what they are...they are so fawn, maybe creams or somethin?

But anyway, pics of my new boy! I just love the pieds that have white edged wings!!! Isnt he cute? One pic you can see my pretty Lightback girl, she just loves her man I enjoy these little finchys so much and people think I'm nuts, but I know you guys understand.

Yep,it is an addiction,you end upp thinking bout the little guys all day long,longing to buy new ones all time,and wondering what chicks you will get if you pair one up with another
