Hi guys

About a month and half ago i went to a pet store and notices a female gouldian with a blueish back, a mix between green and blue, sort of aquamarine type colour and decided to buy it. But not sure if it's a split blue of not. Can someone help me please?

thanks
Matt

Not quite sure I'm picturing it correctly, a picture would help a lot. I can tell you that there is no way to tell visually if a gouldian is split for blue.

Will try to take a pic if possible.

The back of this female is not green like the others, it sort of blueish, it really stands out near other females, and since i have a couple of split blue males was thinking of pairing it with one of them.

Could be a seagreen hen. This mutation is becoming a bit more common in the states.
