OK I have a pair of silverbills, not 100% if a M/F pair, but they built a nest in a wicker nest that is enclosed and deep with one entrance hole and a small peek hole.
They lay a egg every 4 day's or so but the very next day it is smashed in the nest.
Anyone get any suggestions?

I don't really know anything about silverbills, but my first thought was, since you're not sure they're m/f pair, maybe they're two females and are in competition for the nest and smashing egg others eggs?? Otherwise, it doesn't really make sense to me. I am curious what others will say about this behavior. Let us know if you observe anything else.
