I have 2 pairs set up.....and nothing in over 2 months.

I have begun to wonder, could it be because the 2 pairs can see each other? They are across the room, but I imagine that their eyesight is probably better than mine

I'm glad that he is a good singer, but likely he isn't mature yet. He was born in October 2010, so he is not a year old. I find that they mature later than other species, likely because of their long life expectancy. My GS females hadn't laid their first eggs until they were over two years old, much longer than my other species. Maybe next year he will be ready.lovemyfinch wrote:Thanks so much IgorThat is probably why Karen is singing up a storm even though he has a friend
