Congrats on the fledgling! What has caused the parents to pluck him so?
Maybe try offering a mineral dust,iodine, with eggshells. Possibly even some protein like boiled egg or a product like breeders blend. Sometimes the parents will do this due to lack of minerals and protein. Guard that they don't continue the plucking the fledgling so he can get a good start on the perch :D

I thought they plucked it for nesting material but it isn't plucked.
It's just the way the feathers are coming in.
There are feathers there.
My birds get egg food 24/7 with grated cuttle bone
and multi vitamin mixed in.

The hen would sit by the nest box hole and tease
the baby to come out for food.
She would stick her head in and when the baby came to the whole
she would back away till it came out and be fed.
Clever mum!
