Hello everyone! You may have noticed me on this site, since I have been combing through it for the last 6 months for information. This is my first post.
I live in Northern MN. I currently have 8 Zebra Finches. I have 6 in my large homemade flight and 2 in a smaller flight cage. I have had 2 (NG split to CFW male and a CFW female) for about 3 months. I just had the other 6 ( 2 FF's, 2 BC's and 2 Fawns) shipped in from WI almost 1 week ago.
So here is my issue, lol. I put my 2 BC's into the smaller flight after I seen that they where pretty aggressive towards the others. My Female BC does not like the BC male even after a week alone with him. In the larger flight the FF female is trying to steal the NG/CFW male from the CFW female. My Fawn male, well none of the females will give him the time of day and he is the youngest at less then 4 months old.
Any advice on what to do or just let "nature" take it course?
I don't really plan on breeding them since I have no outlet for the babies.
Thanks!
