Anna, at this time I have 2 hens I can pair him with. An OH, PB, GB or a BH, LB, GB. If I pair it with the OH I stand a chance of getting some red heads. I only have one red head in my stock. But chances are greater for getting more like him pairing him with the BH. I can get females like him pairing him with the OH but not males.annague wrote:He is scrumptious!! I love the way he looks and the red heads, so I don't think you an go wrong with the pairings. Maybe let him pick?

Sounds like a win-win to me either way! I agree, maybe let him pick -- I read somewhere that if they get to pick their mates they often do better with parental chores.
