Really beautiful ?hen?

Yes, she is a hen and she is gorgeous. However, I call her a lilac breast but the breeder I got her from called her a purple breast. Am color blind or am I missing something?

She looks purple breast to me Lilac hens are very pale, almost negligible amount of color. A good way to think about it is generally lilac breasted males look like a purple breasted hen.

Thank you for explaining that to me! I guess I just assumed that if the breast wasn't as dark as my RH male's (like my avatar pic) then it was consider lilac. You know what they say about assuming

If he doesn't start using it more than....YES!! Most definitely. I will use all the money from selling off his office furniture to stock with birds and flights!! Oh....how fun that will be.

I am going to keep after him about it. He really hasn't put up too much of a fight....so this could really happen. He's at work more than he is home so why have a home office.
