Left nest Advice needed
All 5 of my birds have left the nest now. I think one of the parents must be split for fawn because on of the babies is white. The babies are covered with poop on their bottom sides. I put in a small shallow bowl of water for them. one of the babies (the fawn one) is litler then the rest and less energetic is it possible he is younger or might it just be a big day for him the first day out of the nest. I could still use advice please.
Waiting for new zebras to breed.

hi gizmo
there is nothing wrong with the poop on the feathers as this is quite common for young to come out of the nest with thier feathers dirty..they eventually will come clean just by being out of the nest..if you put out water for the young make sure it is not too deep as they can drown in very little water..usually you can put a few pebbles in the water so that they have something to climb out onto if they get water logged..the little one will have been the last to hatch..and there is a high probability that it will not grow to be as big as the rest if it survives! i dont like saying this but sometimes this happens with the smallest of the brood
