Canary and Zebra finches?

If I have the HQ double flight cage (so, pretty big), can I have a single male canary and a pair of zebra finches living in it harmoniously? Anyone done it?
Um...they should be fine. My friend has her canary in with her finches and they never fought or anything, but I quess it depends on the individual birds.
And my friend's canary is pretty small too, if that makes a differance.
