In your opinion, based on your experience, which finch species does have the most pleasant (NOT annoying) chirping/song?

I am thinking about getting a pair (had a few finches yrs ago).

Thanks.

Everyone has their own preferences, but I love the song of my Green Singers, Red Headed Parrot Finches, red cheek cordon blues and my gold breasts. The song I do not prefer is my Stars, but it is not loud. My Owls make cute mewing sounds, but not often. My Spice finches are very quiet and the Societys' can be loud. JMO

Thank you, thank you, thank you :)

A friend of mine also suggested green singers.

There will be a finch and canary show in our area soon, so I will definitely pay attention to the finches you mentioned.

And thank you v. much for the link with their song. Going on now to check it.

Love you for your help.

You can search youtube for green singers to see them as well as hear them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtST0X1omxc
Java finches are also unique and interesting.
