I was at Petsmart yesterday and they had some beautiful Silver Bill Finches and I wondered if anyone one the Forum had any? How are they with others in a mixed flight??
I would love to have a pair.

They are very peaceful. They breed well in an aviary but not so good in a cage. They are sweet little birds and I do think you should get them.

I have one silverbill... it lost it's mate, but has made friends with my society finches in the aviary. It has evem helped them to foster.

They are VERY peaceful and sweet little birds. Get them!!!

They are grwat little birds and mix well with other breeds, they are not a pushy type and will sleep a few in a nest like societies

It might be a great idea to advertise your birds in the marketplace, you will get a much larger audience. Also please fill in your location in your profile (I would hate to have someone trying to phone across the ocean looking for silverbills )

PS: In you future posts could you try not using all caps, it makes it seem as though you are yelling.

Just a note that I almost banned you only due to the name of your website containing the word "sex" - although now I realize it made up of your initials and "Exotic"... Have you had issues with anyone else asking or wondering about that?

I'll take the spice finches!!! Too bad it's to expensive to ship to Florida!

One thing about the silverbills: once they start breeding they breed like rabbits and extremely large clutches, too. So, just so you are aware -- they are very sweet finches and great parents.
