Anybody Mind Sharing What Kind Of Finches They Keep and...

Anybody mind sharing the different species of finch they keep and their requirements, cage, feeding, etc. Also any stories of that species with you personally and how you keep them. I know I can always look at a finch website, but I'd like to see what people actually have, I hear of new species all the time on hear. I also like to hear personally what you do with your birds. Any species is welcome, I love reading about the birds. Thanks!

You could do a search in the species section. A lot of us have written quiet a bit on our various species. Or go to the species section on FIC. efinch.com is another site to.

Yeah, that was kind of unsuccessful. I'll look around, I'm getting a large flight for Christmas and I want some to put in it that isn't common, well something you don't see in petstores. Something different, if Cardinals were allowed I'd so have a pair. I'm thinking about javas.

Google "java sparrows" the us a guy in the UK that has a great website. If you can't find it I 'll get it for in the am.

Why thank you! I'll be sure to read as much as possibly. I love javas. My uncle had an albino hen and a white cock. He doesn't have them anymore though, once I have the room I'd like to get some java sparrows.

Java's are a great choice, so calm for their size. I had a couple pair for a while years ago. I ran out of room so had to let them go but I'd get them again in a second if I expand my flock.
