For anyone concerned about mixing owls and societies :

I don't believe I'd ever worry about mixing the two though... owls and societies usually get along with everyone

How about interbreeding? Is there a chart somewhere that tells the possibility of interbreeding?

Owls, from my experience, are hard to breed as it is.... I'm sure that they could produce fertile eggs with society finches, but they likeliness is probably not huge.

I've had my female star and male society produce a fertile egg.

Not gonna happen. No way no how, it's just not. Owls and zebras can sometimes produce hybrids but that should be avoided.
