Cordon Bleu sing before daylight or not?
Will a Cordon Bleu sing or make sounds before daylight or not? From my limited experience, I have found that my gouldians do not, but that a male owl finch does.
Gouldians, RC Cordon Bleu's, and a 9 year old zebra finch.

CB's, at least my RCCB's were very quiet until lights on. Their song is very soft so even if they did dsing you most likely would not be awaken by it.

don't think any of mine make hardly any noise until I turn lights on or the sun rises. But the cordon blues are definitely the first to the food once the lights are on....compared to my owls, societes and gouldians..... now I'll keep an eye on who comes in second...
ten blue capped cordon blues, one male red-cheeked cordon blue, four blue breasted cordon blues, 5 gouldians; two parakeets, 9 owls, five blue-faced parrot finches, two green singers, four stars, 2 shaft tails, four gold breasts, two orange cheeks, two lavenders and sixteen societies.

My rccb's don't sing at dusk, but sing with the rest in the am. My Owls sing at dawn and dusk, as do my GS, Society's, and a few others.
