My pair of zebra are laying again. 1 egg yesterday and 1 today.

It's a good start, the female is already brooding

and sitting tight. Keeping my fingers crossed --they'll get it right this time. SO i dont have to foster their eggs.

Well my calculation was wrong, first baby hatched this morning!!

I went to feed and parents got off the nest so i was able to peek. YAY, we are off to a good start.

I am so sad to say, two chicks hatched and found them both dead on the bottom of the cage this morning...
