My Gouldian Chicks and a Tossed Survivor.

First,Thanks for all the good info on this site. I've had my Gouldians for two years now and let them breed for their first time. First clutch had five eggs. Three hatched, one died and the remaining two are doing great now at four months old.
Here are the babies.................. And here is a picture of the family........babies in the middle. Well, soon after the chicks fledged fledged, they were at it again. This time there was only three eggs. Unfortunatley, when I came home from work, they had tossed all three. What a bummer. While I was removing the tossed chicks from the bottom of the cage, one wiggled a litte bit. Well,I immedietly put it in my Societies nest,as I had nothing to loose.
It has now been about three month and this little guy is makin a living. Although he/she has only one wing and one leg on the right side. It tries to perch with the other birds, but just flops around on a piece of cardboard I put in the cage so it don't fall thru the floor. Although it is healthy and eats like a horse,I'm not sure what the outcome will be.
Amazing what Mother Nature can dish out.
