When do young zebras start singing?

I've got 2 zebra babies which are now exactly 4 weeks old. I can't see the sex yet, but they sometimes (one in particular) brabble a bit. It's sounds like something in between screeching and gargling. If one or both are male, when will they start singing?

That is the male.
I don't remember exactly how long, but I did remember that it was a gradual change/improvement in his singing as he got older. It will take a few months before he sounds like an adult.

Young zebra males can sound like they are gargling rocks or sound so squeaky until they find their voice. By the time they are 3 months old they should sound like a normal male....some do not quiet down and are so thrilled they can sing they go at it non stop!!!!!

I had a male start singing before he even left the nest! It was so cute- like a squeakier version of his daddy!

I also had one male who started to sing in the nest.
Very cute.
But I think the normal startin time is ..4 weeks old.
My two males are around 6 weeks and are getting it right
and are singing very nicely!!
